Development Process
Over the past year Your Energy has spoken to many people in the community either directly or through this website. Registering will mean we can update you on events and any wind farm news, website updates and you can tell us what you would like to see.
Public Consultation
- We held a public meeting in Lavendon answering questions about Milton Keynes Wind Farm
- We held a public exhibition in Emberton in April. All members of the public we welcome to attend and we had an attendance of over 100 people turn up throughout the day. We presented our results of the environmental assessments and showed how all of the environmental factors have been reducing by redesigning the wind farm, to now only consist of seven turbines.
- Following the exhibition, we gave a presentation to Emberton Parish Council, where we were asked to provide more photomontages and give further details on the traffic expected on the A509/Newton Road junction. We have done this and these studies and photomontages are incorporated into the ES and this website.
- We have distributed these additional photomotages here on our website and to the Emberton parish council and nearby residents so they can appreciate what the wind farm will look like from their property.
- We ran a two free bus trips to visit our operational Burton Wold Wind Farm (Burton Latimer, Kettering). We went around the wind farm and on to the site to walk around, and it allowed all visitors to see and hear what the reality of a wind farm is like. If you are a nearby resident and missed out on the previous trips to visit Burton Wold Wind but would still like to go, please contact us.
- We have updated this website with all of the ES documents, photomontages and plans and will continue to do so.
